Overview: Industrial Exhaust Fans are designed, engineered and manufactured with durability and longevity in mind. Industrial exhaust fans are made for continuous use applications and environments where dependability is critical to the success of its intended purpose. They can be found installed in a variety of locations on a building from sitting on a roof curb at the peak of a sloped roof to hanging off the sidewall exhaust air out the wall and through a damper.

Industrial Grade Roof Exhaust Fans come in up blast and down blast orientations. Up blast exhaust fans are used where the air stream is often contaminated with dust, smoke or fumes from a manufacturing process. And down blast orientation where the air stream is relatively clean and un-wanted heat and odors are being removed. Mixed flow and axial propeller roof exhaust fans are designed to remove larger volumes of air out of the building and straight into the atmosphere with low sound and high efficiency. While centrifugal upblast roof exhaust fans are designed to take the wiring and motor out of the air stream for grease laden or contaminated air and can operate with efficiency as the static pressure rises such as ducted or filtered applications. Hooded roof exhaust fans can be used in both exhaust and supply orientations and typically give the most protection in adverse weather conditions.

Industrial Wall Exhaust Fans can be found in both Direct Drive and Belt Drive orientations and a varying number of blades and material type depending on its use. While Direct Drive Wall Exhaust Fans minimize maintenance by removing bearings that need to be greased and a belt that eventually may need to be replaced, you are limited by the speed offered by the motor unless used with a Variable Frequency Drive. Belt drive industrial wall exhaust fans can offer a greater variety of horsepower and performance options and can help minimize the stress on the motor by removing the propeller from the motor shaft. Wall axial exhaust fans are often mounted in a wall sleeve with an intake guard and back draft damper for ease of installation and to maintain a proper distance from the propeller to the damper to minimize turbulence and ensure peak performance. Reversible wall exhaust fans can be used to exhaust or supply air - your choice by flipping the reversing switch on the fan. This can help to introduce cooler air into your Industrial facility in the cooler months while operating as an exhaust fan in a warmer environment.
